Informal crochet and knitting get-together on the first Wednesday of the month – 2024 dates: 3rd April; 1st May; 5th June.
6.30pm – 8.30pm. £5 and receive 10% off all purchases made on the day (excludes sewing machines and overlockers). Only 8 spaces available. Come for all or come for part – it’s up to you.
Bring your own project to work on and chat with like-minded people. If you get stuck or have a query, you can pick our brains or those of your fellow Clubbees. We can also give you inspiration for your next project!
As we are located in the shop, you will also have the opportunity to purchase any supplies you need or get seduced by! There’s 10% off for all purchases made during the evening.
About these sessions
We welcome beginners to experts, and everything in between. It doesn’t matter if you’ve just learnt to knit or crochet or if you’re a seasoned expert, knocking out lace blankets and cable jumpers by the dozen!
If you’re a beginner, then choose a simple project to start with – we can advise you and give some suggestions if you need some help.
Booking our classes is similar to making a theatre booking, the ‘show must go on’ regardless of your attendance, therefore classes are non-refundable and sadly there are no catch-up opportunities for missed sessions. Please do check your diary carefully before booking a class.
Workshop bookings require payment in full either through the website or in the shop with payment via cash, voucher or card. Gift Voucher bookings can be made by in the shop.

Workshop Cancellation – by Haberdasherdo Customers
If you have to cancel your workshop please notify Haberdasherdo as soon as possible by telephone: 01202 428612, and confirm in writing by emailing us at info@haberdasherdo.co.uk
Workshop fees are non-refundable unless we cancel (see below)
You may transfer your workshop (subject to a £5 administration charge) to another of our workshops as long as we have 14 days notice. Alternatively, you may arrange to send an acquaintance in your place.
We do understand that sometimes you might have to cancel at late notice and we will do our best to re-fill you place by re-listing on our website, checking a waiting list, promoting late availability on our Social media pages and attempt to resell your space. If your space sells we will inform you by email after the class runs and arrange a refund.
No refunds are given to those who fail to attend a workshop.
Workshop Cancellation – by Haberdasherdo
We will endeavour to run every published workshop, however there may be times, due to impracticalities, sickness or other unforeseen circumstances that we will cancel the workshop. In these instances you may transfer to any other workshops available. All payments received will be carried over to a new booking. Alternatively you will receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop at short notice. In this event you will be notified as soon as possible via telephone and/or email.
