90s week sees the contestants make some cargo pants/trousers, transform household items into a 90s icon-inspired fancy dress outfit and an outfit fit for a super-model in the Made to Measure challenge.
Well that was a wacky one! Contestants made a gathered, appliqued skirt, a garment from pieces of artwork and a made to measure inspired by the Surrealist Art Movement.
Week 4 sees the contestants make a pair of ‘zero waste’ trousers, transform tote bags into tops and (shock horror!) turn crochet blankets into outfits.

It’s lingerie and sleepwear week and the contestants have to make a bra and pants set in the pattern challenge, transform some thermal underwear into a wearable garment in the transformation and then make a pair of luxury men’s pyjamas! Music Week sees the sewists making a Parker jacket in the Pattern Challenge in just 4.5 hours, a stage outfit for a Country & Western star in the Transformation and then bring Bowie to the Catwalk in the Made to Measure.
Children’s week and the sewists have to make a sailor suit, something wearable out of old school uniforms and a 3D Halloween outfit.
