Week 4 sees the contestants make a pair of ‘zero waste’ trousers, transform tote bags into tops and (shock horror!) turn crochet blankets into outfits.
It’s lingerie and sleepwear week and the contestants have to make a bra and pants set in the pattern challenge, transform some thermal underwear into a wearable garment in the transformation and then make a pair of luxury men’s pyjamas! Follow Jane unpick where things went wrong and right for the sewists.
Music Week sees the sewists making a Parker jacket in the Pattern Challenge in just 4.5 hours, a stage outfit for a Country & Western star in the Transformation and then bring Bowie to the Catwalk in the Made to Measure.
Children’s week and the sewists have to make a sailor suit, something wearable out of old school uniforms and a 3D Halloween outfit.
