Workshop Terms & Conditions

How to register for workshops

You can sign up for workshops on our website, in person at our shop or by calling us at 01202 428612. We require full payment at the time of booking in order to reserve your place.

Workshop materials

The materials and tools needed for each workshop varies, so please refer to the workshop description and the email you receive upon registration. Once you register, you’ll receive a list of the supplies you’ll need to bring or buy, if any.
You will receive a 10% discount code/voucher to use on your workshop day if you wish to purchase supplies in the shop, however it’s best to plan ahead and arrive early in case it is busy. If you’d like to buy your supplies prior to your workshop day, just let us know when you come into the shop so we can apply your discount. If you have any questions about what you’ll need to bring, please contact us.

Cancellation policy

We do not issue refunds on workshop bookings, however we will allow a store credit or transfer to another workshop provided the following condition is met:
If you wish to cancel a workshop booking you must do so at least 10 days in advance of the workshop and we will offer you store credit or re-schedule your workshop (subject to availability). For example, if your class is on 20 October, you must contact us by 10 October in order to receive store/workshop credit.
Due to the planning, ordering of supplies and tools and staffing commitments, we are unable to offer any refunds for late cancellations (ie after the cut-off date of 10 days prior to the workshop date).
If you are unable to attend a workshop, maybe you can give the spot to a friend.

Cancellation by us

Some workshops require minimum numbers. This is to ensure you have a great experience, as well as to make workshops viable for us. However, we will make every effort to run a workshop if we think we can! Most workshops have a minimum number of 4. If we do have to cancel, we will contact you by telephone or email before the class is due to go ahead and you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to book onto a different workshop.

Late arrivals policy

Workshops start promptly at the time stated on your registration email. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late you will not be able to take part in the class and you will not be able to move to another class or receive a refund.
Often there is a lot to get through in our workshops and it isn’t fair on other attendees if we have to stop and go back to explain things to late arrivals, so please allow plenty of time to get parked, etc.

General

Liability

Our liability is only for the cost of the class. If the class is cancelled students are liable for any costs incurred including materials purchased in advance, travel or accommodation. We are not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur whilst you are in the class and in our property.

We reserve the right to alter our pricing at any time and the prices are current at the time of booking. We are under no obligation to issue a refund or gift voucher for any class booked outside an offer or sale we are holding.

Use of teaching materials and designs

You are strictly prohibited to use any of the workshop sheets, designs, photography or materials from our workshops for your own workshops or business.
