Come and make a large weekend style bag, similar to the pink velvet one in our window! With cotton or polycotton lining and with a slip pocket and magnetic clasp, this bag-making workshop will show you techniques that you can apply to other projects and bags. £49.95 includes velvet outer (or suitable alternative), cotton/polycotton lining, magnetic clasp, button and thread. No experience required, although ability to sew a straight line on a sewing machine useful! Use our sewing machines or bring your own. You take home your completed bag and instructions on how to make for future projects.
NB We have a selection of velvets or suitable soft furnishing fabrics from which to choose your main bag fabric. A coordinating lining will be provided along with threads and interlining. Fabrics should be selected in advance to enable us to cut and prepare before the workshop.
